The Coalition of Finance Ministers for Climate Action will actively contribute to London Climate Action Week 2026, engaging with policymakers, financial institutions and partners to advance climate finance and country-led transitions.

Key Coalition events:
- Driving a Coordinated Whole-of-Economy Transformation (TP1 Launch Workshop)
24 June, 14:00–15:30 | World Bank Group Office & virtual
This event explores how to strengthen the institutional, strategic, and governance foundations needed to mainstream the climate agenda, while promoting peer exchange on how MoFs can engage and lead the design and implementation of NDCs, NAPs, and LTSs. It also explores practical tools to integrate climate commitments into economic planning and to assess the economic benefits of climate transition and economic resilience.
- From Nature Loss to Policy Response: Managing Macro-Fiscal and Financial Risks
25 June, 13:00–17:30 | UCL IIPP & virtual
(Joint NGFS–CFMCA event)
This event will provide a platform to discuss emerging analytical frameworks, policy approaches, and practical experiences related to the integration of nature-related considerations into economic and financial decision-making, with a focus on the role of public financial authorities in supporting resilient and sustainable economies.
- Scaling Credible Transition Finance (Joint Dialogue Platform)
26 June, 09:00–16:00 | Bank of England
This event will explore how public policy, supervisory approaches, and market practices can better align to mobilize private capital and accelerate the transition toward climate-smart and resilient growth, combined with selected practical examples. The morning session will be open to an invited audience, while the afternoon closed-door workshop will bring together CFMCA and NGFS members to explore how policy frameworks, transition plans, and supervisory practices can be better aligned to restore and strengthen the feedback loop between national pathways, entity level plans, and financial decision making.
Coalition engagement across LCAW:
The Coalition will also engage in a range of partner-led events, including discussions hosted by UNEP FI, NGFS and E3G/LSEG, contributing to global efforts to align policy, finance and investment for climate action.
