The Coalition is a global Finance Minister-led initiative to accelerate climate action - the first of its kind. The Coalition comprises members from 60 countries and is supported by 18 Institutional Partners.

Membership of the Coalition is global, bringing together countries from all regions and levels of development. Member countries represent about 39% of global CO2 emissions and 63% of global GDP (2018 figures), with about half the global average of emissions intensity of GDP (0.23 versus 0.41 tons of CO2 per US$1,000 of GDP).
