Coalition Secretariat
The Secretariat to the Coalition of Finance Ministers for Climate Action is jointly hosted by the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
The Secretariat serves as the core engine and delivery function of the Coalition, providing substantive, operational, and technical support to Finance Ministry members, Partners, Co-Chairs, and Coalition activities.

Secretary of the Coalition
 | Sharon S. Yang is the Secretary of the Coalition. Sharon joined the Coalition Secretariat as Secretary in September 2025. She brings experience from both the public and private sectors, and most recently advised non-profit and philanthropy clients on international climate policy strategy. Sharon previously served as Deputy Assistant Secretary for International Financial Markets at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, where she co-chaired the G20 Sustainable Finance Working Group and also led engagement on financial stability, ESG, fintech, and market policy issues. Sharon has also led global financial regulatory policy at a large financial institution and began her career as a lawyer in private practice. |
