Institutional Partners
Institutional Partners provide broad-based and strategic support to the Coalition. They contribute to multiple Helsinki Principles and support Coalition work through cutting-edge research, technical assistance, and capacity-building efforts. Their involvement may include leading or co-leading workstreams and supporting global or regional convenings. While they may contribute in-kind or financial support, it is not mandatory. IPs are invited based on their demonstrated ability to offer comprehensive expertise and support across various domains.

Knowledge Partners
Knowledge Partners provide specialized, demand-driven support on specific topics and challenges identified by Coalition Members. These may include academic institutions, think tanks, non-profit organizations, and community-based entities with deep expertise in targeted areas. Their contributions are often more geographically focused and issue-specific, such as operational research or technical support on particular aspects of the Helsinki Principles. KPs enhance the Coalition’s knowledge base and analytical capacity without the requirement to engage in broader governance structures or convenings.
