Asia-Pacific Regional Dialogue on Climate Fiscal Resilience and Climate Finance

Co-organized by the Coalition and the Asian Development Bank (ADB), this full-day regional dialogue will bring together Ministries of Finance from across Asia and the Pacific to exchange practical experiences on managing climate-related fiscal risks, mobilizing climate finance, and strengthening regional cooperation. Held on the sidelines of the IMF–World Bank Annual Meetings, the dialogue is open to all Coalition members.

Blended finance for clean energy and adaptation: bridging policy with the practice

This workshop will explore how blended finance and other risk-sharing instruments can
unlock greater private investment for pipelines of clean energy and adaptation
projects. Through practical case studies and cross-sector dialogue, participants will
identify the enabling conditions, partnerships and financial solutions needed to scale
finance across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond. This workshop will be divided into
two parts: the first one will have a focus on adaptation from the private financial
institutions' perspective, the second one on clean energy, including renewable energy
and energy efficiency. Co-hosted with UNEP-FI and OECD.
16th Ministerial Meeting of the Coalition of Finance Ministers for Climate Action
14 October 2026 | Bangkok, Thailand
The Coalition's 16th Ministerial Meeting will convene Finance Ministers and senior institutional partners to discuss how countries can preserve macroeconomic stability while financing resilience and the green transition amid energy price shocks. Ministers will also endorse the Coalition's fourth Climate Action Statement and launch a consultation process for the update of the Coalition's flagship climate action guide.
Ministerial Breakfast on Private Investment Mobilization

Co-hosted with GFANZ, this ministerial breakfast will provide an informal setting for dialogue between Finance Ministers and private sector leaders on accelerating private investment for climate action. Discussions will explore practical approaches to strengthening enabling environments, reducing investment risks, and mobilizing capital at scale for climate-resilient and low-carbon development.
Post-Ministerial Deputies’ Dialogue: Shaping the Updated Coalition Flagship Guide

The Dialogue will be a key part of the launch of the public consultation and will
provide an opportunity for Coalition Deputies to exchange country experiences,
practical lessons and emerging priorities that will help inform the continued
development of the Guide. This interactive discussion will also provide an
important opportunity for members to shape the next iteration of the Guide and
help ensure that it reflects the experiences, priorities and policy needs of Ministries
of Finance.
TP1 Country Platforms Workshop 1: Governance for Effective Country Platforms

This workshop aims to explore the governance arrangements that enable country
platforms to move from coordination to effective implementation; facilitate peer
learning among government officials responsible for designing and implementing
country platforms; create understanding of how governance approaches support
private sector participation in country platforms; build a community of practice that can
continue exchanging experiences throughout the broader workshop series. Co-hosted
by Global Capacity Building Coalition and GFANZ.
