This exclusive, by-invitation-only session, is reserved for Ministers and CEOs of financial institutions and is jointly organized by the Coalition of Ministers of Finance for Climate Action, in close collaboration with the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity, Finance for Biodiversity Foundation, the Inter-American Development Bank, United Nations Development Programme, the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative, and the World Bank Group.

The discussion between the Ministers and the CEO will focus on aligning financial flows with the Global Biodiversity Framework goals, aligning economic incentives with nature restoration, conservation and sustainable use objectives; setting national commitments and providing policies for other stakeholders, in particular private sector in supporting the wider implementation of the GBF, particularly in the context of resource mobilization strategy.
