National Transition Planning workshop at the CFMCA Asian Regional Meeting
This in-person workshop is part of the broader Coalition’s output on Green and Just Transition, Private sector mobilization, and NDCs. It is a follow-up to a virtual introductory workshop (May 22) and part of a series of regional workshops (other regions are being defined), with the objective to introduce key elements of national transition planning (NTP) and to provide hands-on experience in preparing for the planning process.

National Transition Plans workshop was organized jointly by Transition, HP5 and HP1/6 workstreams, to introduce members to the topic of NTPs, to provide clarity of a variety of transition plan frameworks and guidance documents for the private sector
11th Ministerial Meeting
The Coalition convened on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 during the World Bank and International Monetary Fund Spring Meetings in Washington, DC. The 11th Ministerial discussed the role of Finance Ministers in the design, financing implementation of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), or countries’ national climate plans which need to be updated by 2025 under the Paris Agreement framework. Finance Ministers and partners shared their experiences, lessons and best practices on several sub-topics in high-level roundtables.
